A classic journey from Marrakech to the golden dunes of Merzouga and back, crossing the High Atlas Mountains, ancient kasbahs, dramatic gorges, and palm valleys. This tour is available as private or shared group and includes a camel trek and a night in a desert camp with private bathroom.



Day 1: Marrakech → Aït Ben Haddou → Dades Valley
Depart early from Marrakech and cross the High Atlas via the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit the UNESCO-listed ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, famous for its earthen architecture and film history. Continue through Kelaat M’Gouna (Rose Valley) toward the dramatic landscapes of Tinghir province for dinner and overnight in a hotel/riad.

Day 2: Dades Valley → Todgha Gorge → Merzouga Desert Camp
After breakfast, head to the impressive cliffs of Todgha Gorge for a walk between 300-meter rock walls. Continue to Merzouga at the edge of Erg Chebbi. Leave the vehicle and ride camels across the dunes to your desert camp. Enjoy sunset views, dinner under the stars, Berber music, and an overnight stay in a private tent

Day 3: Merzouga → Draa Valley → Ouarzazate → Marrakech
Wake early for sunrise over the dunes, return to Merzouga, and begin the return Pass through Ouarzazate and cross the Atlas Mountains back to Marrakech, arriving in the evening.
